Enjoyed a very slow but good meal at Bobby V's Pizzeria in Kapaa, Kauai. Bobby V's is cute little place along Kuhio Highway that serves some pretty good pizza. The place is cute with a small indoor seating area overlooking the oven. There are a few small tables on the front deck but the main seating area is out back. The backyard has wooden benches where you can sit under a canopy and enjoy your meal in the warm air of Kauai. Inside is a bit hot for me. Service on this evening was slow. Real slow. Several tables around us were rolling their eyes and getting impatient. The staff apologized and brought out bread and marinara sauce to help pass the time. We started with the Antipasto Salad ($9.99). This salad was good but a bit small for the price I thought. The "Jake" Pizza ($27.99) was all meat at the request of my Nephew. Ham, Sausage, Pepperoni and Meatball on a thin crust. We all liked the thin crust but thought the pizza needed more sauce. All in all this is a good pizza joint for the Island of Kauai. I do want to return to Bobby V's on my next visit to the Garden Isle.
