Really liked Lou Malnati's. Now I could not eat Deep Dish Pizza too often but once a year or so is plenty. Lou's is busy. There was a line out the door when we visited on a beautiful and warm May evening. We actually were able to place our pizza order in advance while waiting at the bar. When our table was ready, we were taken through a maze of rooms adorned with sports memorabilia on the walls. Some pretty cool stuff on the walls if you are a sports fan. Absolutely loved the Calamari here. Probably one of the best I have ever tasted. Battered and cooked to perfection. Also enjoyed the Chicken Wings which had a nice heat to them and tasty flavor. While I am not a big Deep Dish Pizza eater, I did find Lou Malnati's to be delicious. Problem is I could only eat one piece after the appetizers. The Pizza is thick and dense and you can really taste the dough but the sauce and toppings do shine through.
