Kapolei Golf Club is a great golf course on Oahu. Love the layout and water features here. Equally impressive is the restaurant. The food, service and decor are fantastic. Actually worth a trip just to eat in the restaurant that overlooks the course. The staff has always been friendly and attentive which makes dining here very relaxing. On this visit I enjoyed the Spicy Ahi Roll. Fresh raw Ahi Tuna with lettuce, cucumber and noodles. Served with Sarachi sauce to add some heat. Fantastic! My friend had a Bowl of Clam Chowder with a Salad and both were delicious. I tried a cup of the chowder and it was good by Hawaii standards for this East Coast favorite. Another friend enjoyed the Furikake Crusted Ahi Tuna. Said it was "great". This is a really good restaurant with large tables for groups and indoor and outdoor seating. There is a bar and lots of space to kick back and chill after playing 18 holes. Highly recommend Kapolei Golf Club for golf and the restaurant for a good meal.

UPDATE 3/10/13
Enjoyed a nice lunch at Kapolei. Tried the Bubu Arare Crusted Ahi Tuna Sandwich ($12). Served with side salad of the lettuce that I hate. Why can't we go back to good old lettuce. Liked the Ahi Sandwich but would have liked tomato, lettuce and onion on it. I took the lettuce and tomato from my salad and put it on the sandwich.
