After a round of wonderful golf at Turnberry our caddy recommended we have dinner at Wildings which is just a couple of minutes from the golf course. We called ahead to reserve a table and when we arrived the place was packed and our table was ready. We were happily seated by one of the nicest and most gracious wait staffs I have ever experienced. Customer service here is awesome. There were no less than eight different people tending to our table at different times. All were super nice and professional. The food here was among the best or THE BEST I had during my entire stay in Scotland. A three course meal is 23.50 pounds or just under $40 U.S. Worth every penny. I enjoyed the Chef's Pate, Salmon and Crayfish Chowder and the Steak/Lobster Combo. All were fantastic. Think I finished everything on my plates before having a bite of each of our three desserts. Wildings is a winner and not to be missed if you golf or visit Turnberry.
