I love Trump National Los Angeles.  What a beautiful place on the cliffs of Palos Verdes.  This is a tough and challenging course that took a few of my golf balls.  Holes #1 and #16 were dramatically different from the last time I played here because the incredible waterfalls are now gone.  Still beautiful though and a joy to play.

Salsa Verdes is tucked away in the courtyard of a business plaza.  I arrived for lunch and sat outside next to a fountain.  Nice......The hard working lady running the front did it all except cook the food.  Handled all the tables, orders, drinks, food running, cashier and bus person.  She worked hard.  I LOVED the Shredded Beef Taco.  One of the best in California.  Filled with seasoned shredded beef, Lettuce, Cheese and Tomato.  Large and filling Taco.  The Chicken Taquitos were also good but they were covered in a mayonnaise based sauce that I could not stand.  Think that may have been the Chipotle Sauce.  The Sauce ruined the Taquitos for me so I only was able to eat one.  I liked Salsa Verde and would love to return as I saw the Fajitas, Enchiladas and other dishes coming out of the kitchen and they looked great.

After five days in California running solo, my gals finally joined me in Los Angeles.

The first place they wanted to eat was of course In N' Out Burger.  We don't eat a lot of Burgers but when we do, we prefer In N' Out.  Delicious!!

Food and service were good at Catalina Kitchen.  Enjoyed a perfectly cooked Sea Bass and maybe some Chocolate Lava Cake too.

I enjoyed some light meals at Nelson's which is perched above the cliffs overlooking Palos Verdes. Pretty sweet spot if you ask me.  The outdoor dining here is really nice and service was good too.The Chicken Wings were spicy and delicious.  The Ahi Poke Salad was good.  Even tried the Hot Bavarian Pretzel which was great with the Whole Grain Mustard.

Enjoyed another visit to Terranea.  I really like this place because it is worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles.  Nice place to get away and recharge the body and mind.  Service is good and the resort has plenty of amenities.
