I liked the Encore Boston Harbor but it does not have five star service.  Rooms are excellent and clean.  Restaurant options are great even if expensive.  There is absolutely no seating areas in the lobby or anywhere except restaurants and casino bars.  We arrived early and had to hang out a bit until our room was ready.  My Wife does not drink or like to sit at bars so she fell asleep at a slot machine tucked away in a corner.  They really need so comfortable seating somewhere near the lobby.  Service is no where near five star and at most times non existent.  Valet staff while friendly did not welcome us or provide a high level of service.   There are no wine glasses or wine opener in the room so I had to request from room service.  The hotel is located about 20 minutes away (depending on traffic) from the main tourist attractions in Boston.  They do have a nice boat that takes you back and forth for free.  We took it one way and then relied on Uber to get us back to the hotel.  This was a business trip and the conference center was nice.  Food served at the functions was pretty good.  No complaints.

Would I stay here again when visiting Boston?  Probably not.

UNITED AIRLINES - LOS ANGELES TO BOSTON

United Airlines outdid themselves with the worst airline food ever.  This tasteless and hard Chicken was uneatable.  This seems to be a pattern on United.  Service however was good.

Always nice to enjoy some Tacos while flying through LA.  Enjoyed these on a layover with a glass of wine at Loteria Grill.

UNITED AIRLINES - HONOLULU TO LOS ANGELES

United Airlines continues to underwhelm with their food and service.  Even in First Class, the food and service is nothing like Asian or International airlines.  On this flight the Chicken entree was absolutely terrible and uneatable.  I ordered the $10 Cheese Plate from Coach and didn't eat the meal.

MEET OUR NEW BABY KEA!

Loosing our beloved dog Sunny was tragic and a life changing experience for our family.  

Our love for Sunny was so deep and endless that we barely could function without her in our home.  Non stop crying filled the house that once was a place of joy when Sunny was by our side.  While we put on strong faces to go to work and attend functions, deep inside we were devastated.  Crying on the way to work and the way home became the norm.  Then while having dinner where Sunny was usually the main focus as she maneuvered for some scraps became crying moments where we both would just say "I miss Sunny".  Not being able to cope, my Wife started looking for a similar type doggy.  Sunny was a Pomeranian Sheltie mix which is not a popular breed.  After a few weeks she did find a Pomeranian Corgi mix so we contacted the breeder and met our new dog along with three of her brothers.  Seeing them all in a box made us want all of them and we came so close to taking two home.  We settled on the only girl in the litter because Sunny was a girl.

After eating at Morimoto Asia Waikiki many times, I can say it is one of my favorite restaurants in Waikiki.  Love the food here.  While they forgot the Duck on our Roasted Duck Caesar, I give them a pass because when they brought the Duck (after I showed the waitress the salad) it was delicious.  Love the Black Pepper Beef which does pack a little heat.  Always enjoy the Whole Fish which is served with a delicious sauce that compliments the fish.

Back in 2021 I made it into to Iliili Cash and Carry to try their Italian Sandwich and liked it.

Then I went to a more low carb diet and never returned.  For some reason I was craving Pizza and decided to give their pizza a try.  Ordered the Supreme with Pepperoni, Sausage, Tomato, Bell Pepper, Onion and Mozzarella.  First off the Pizza looked great with the burnt bubbles and charred undercarriage.  First bite and it was all yummy from there.  Really liked the crust and toppings.  Sausage was my favorite.  Nice crunch and flavor.  Probably one of the best Pizza's on Oahu.  Ordered the Italian Sandwich again and liked it.  Huge sando of house made bread with a ton of meat.  Salami, Mortadella, soppressata, mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pepperoncini, red onion, Italian dressing and Provolone.  Must have weighed a few pounds and way too much for me to eat alone.  Shared with my Wife and we still couldn't finish it.  You gotta order this with the Giardineira which adds more flavor and pop.  If I am not counting carbs, I am definitely coming back here.
