HAWAII FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL
HAWAII CONVENTION CENTER, HONOLULU, HI
Amazing food, Celebrity Chefs and lots of wine make this event my favorite. Started the evening with a little Opus One and Silver Oak and then enjoyed Foie Gras, Lobster and Rack of Lamb. Went on and on from there with Lobster Miso Noodles, Sashimi and more dishes than I can remember. Only complaint is every year this event runs out of wine at the end of the evening. But don't worry there is plenty of Beer, Mixed Drinks and Whiskey to enjoy. Best part of this night was talking to Adam Richman and his Mom for a half hour, saying hi to Iron Chef Morimoto again and chatting with Chef Leanne Wong and James Beard Best Chef in New York Winner, Jonathan Waxman. All were open, personable and happy.
