PRIME RIB LUNCH AT THE OFFICE

Blessed to be enjoying some pretty good business during these hot summer months in Hawaii.  I had bought my team lunch the week before but didn't feel that it was at a high enough level so I contacted my friend who owns Ruby Tuesday Hawaii.  He prepared this incredible Prime Rib lunch and served it in our office.  Great food and service!

I don't eat at large national chain restaurants very often but I do like Ruby Tuesday in Moanalua.  Staff is friendly and the military and local clientele make me feel right at home.

My fave here is the Salad Bar.  Just give me that and I am happy.  Also like the Pastrami Sliders which are delicious.  On this visit we enjoyed the Classic Sampler with Pretzels, Mozzarella Sticks, Spinach Artichoke Dip and Queso.  Nice combo of snacks!

Enjoyed a great lunch hosted by Rick Nakashima, Owner of Ruby Tuesday Hawaii.  Rick is 

a generous and giving person who does all he can to support our local community.  Great spending some time with him and enjoying the food at Ruby Tuesday.  The Salad Bar here is the best on the Island.  Huge assortment of veggies and condiments including Bacon, Beets, Nuts, Fruits, Meats and more.  Really was satisfied with just the Salad Bar but then came the Spinach and Queso Dips.  They are both delicious on their own but I found that by mixing the two together makes for the perfect dip.  I could eat a gallon of this stuff.  The Pastrami Sliders are a must try.  Pastrami had great flavor and the Pickles added a little bite.  Loved these.  The Cheeseburger here is solid.  Large Beef Patty plus Lettuce, Tomato and Onion.  We added Avocado.  This place rocks during lunch time and it was nice to see our military and locals enjoying the food here.

The wife hit a pot hole on Honolulu's great streets.  Had to wait two hours for the repair at Sears.  Decided to have dinner at Ruby Tuesdays since it was close.  They had a special and offered Mini Burgers for $1 each.  The burgers were great.  Great deal for a buck. The kids meal mini burgers cost $6.49.  Same thing but with fries. Add $1.99 for the salad bar and it is $8.50 for the kids meal plus a buck for a drink.  We tried the Shrimp Diablo with Salad Bar ($20.48),  This was a spicy dish of pasta served with small shrimp in cajun spices.  The Salad Bar alone for me was $11.99.  There is no way I ate $12 worth of salad.  The $1 burgers were great but everything else just seemed too expensive.
