KING CRAB DINNER IN PARADISE

DINNER AT OUR BEACH SHACK

So blessed to have my two girls and a Beach Shack on Kauai.  The twenty minute flight is quick but takes you so far from the busy city of Honolulu.  Kauai is true paradise and a place where all you need is a pair of shorts, slippers and t-shirt.  We usually arrive in the late afternoon and head straight to Foodland or Safeway to pick up food, snacks and beverages for the weekend.  On this visit we picked up some large King Crab Legs and simply steamed them on the BBQ.  There was no need for a sauce or butter.  They were sweet and delicious.  Enjoyed dinner on the lanai and a beautiful view with my two best friends.  Not a bad day in Paradise.

SUNSET ON KAUAI AFTER A GREAT DINNER WITH MY TWO BEST FRIENDS.  IT WAS LIGHTS OUT BY 9:00 PM AND UP EARLY TO TAKE A GREAT HIKE IN WAIMEA CANYON

Very blessed to have a little beach shack on Kauai.  Our unit is small but located directly on the beach in Kapaa.  Rather than go out for dinner on Kauai we enjoy a nice family bbq by the pool.  The complex has three gas bbq's, picnic table and a pool bar near by if you need a cocktail.  I cooked up some nice Rib Eye Steaks and some fresh Hawaii fish along with vegetables, garlic bread and a salad.  Beautiful setting and great dinner on the beach.  This is Paradise!

THE BOSS ENJOYED CORN ON THE COBB, GARLIC BREAD, SALAD WITH CRAB, VEGETABLES AND STEAK.  SHE EVEN TRIED THE FISH AND LOVED IT!
