My Wife's Happy Birthday weekend and I wanted her to enjoy some of her favorite foods. She wanted Pasta and Pizza from Bernini but did not want to go out and eat at the restaurant. She wanted to eat at home and watch a movie. Wish granted with Bernini takeout. Enjoyed the Margarita Pizza and her favorite Mushroom and Truffle Pizza. The Pizza is super thin crust which we both like plus it helps keep the carbs down. The Mushroom Pizza has walnuts which I do not like on the Pizza. The Wife loves the walnuts though. The Carbonara with Truffles was the bomb. The fresh truffles put this pasta dish on another level. Loved it!

Not too often that we dine at a restaurant and then go back 7 days later but thats what we did at Bernini. During our last visit we saw a Mushroom Pizza and Burrata at the table next to us. Looked so good that we ended up returning just to order these dishes plus a few more. Once again the service was excellent and the food did not disappoint. We started with a Kampachi Carpaccio that really did not impress us. While the fish was fresh and the presentation was perfect, the dish was missing something. Needed a light sauce and maybe a slice of Jalapeño.

We loved the Burrata that was served with Honey Combs. Honey and Burrata are the perfect combination and I will now serve this at home. The Burrata was chilled to perfection and fresh. Loved it. We also tried the Spaghetti with Clams. While the Clams were small, they were packed with flavor. The Pasta was a perfect al dente with a very light almost non existent sauce that was delicious. The Mushroom and Sausage Pizza did not disappoint. This is a really good Pizza with lots of flavors goin on. They actually put Walnuts on the Pizza too. While I did not care for the nuts on the Pizza, my Wife loved them. I liked the Mushrooms, Sausage and Truffle Oil. Once I tasted the Truffle, I could not stop thinking about how great it would be to have the Pizza covered in shaved Truffles. Loved the Pizza. We took more than half home and as we were walking to our car there was a homeless person sleeping on the sidewalk. I layed the leftover pizza next to him so he could enjoy a nice meal when he woke up. We really like the staff and food at Bernini and it is now on our Date Night rotation.

We have not been to Bernini in many years but have friends that go there all the time and love it. Decided to give it a try for our Date Night. Turned out to be a great idea because the food was fantastic. Every dish delivered on flavor. We started with the Roasted Mushroom Salad with Parmigiano. Wow...the Mushrooms and Parmesan went so well together. This was so delicious. Already want to return to eat it again. Next up were Grilled Scallops with fresh Tomato and Basil. While the Scallops were small, they were cooked perfectly and sweet. Also liked the light viniagrette. Our main courses were huge hits. My Wife eyes lit up when she took her first bite of the Filet with Foie Gras and Truffles. This was a perfect dish with a perfectly medium rare Filet of Beef and nice size piece of Foie Gras covered in Truffles. Pure heaven on a plate. I am ordering this for me next time. The Tagliolini Al Tartufu was also amazing. Fresh made Pasta in a light Mushroom Cream Sauce covered with Truffles. This was worth the carbs and oh so delicious. Almost licked the plate. For dessert we went for the Tiramisu and it was one of the best ever. Chilled and so light. Loved it. Service was great with the Manager checking on us and walking us out and thanking us for dining here.

This was a GREAT Date Night. Already making plans to return and try the Pizza!
