Spending some time having brunch at the Hau Tree Lanai with old friends was special. This is the first hotel I stayed at my first time ever in Hawaii. I enjoyed breakfast on the lanai every single morning for almost two months. Being back now with the same friends I had over 30 years ago brought back old memories and made some new ones. I loved the Crab Benedict with Tomatoes in place of the bread and will never get sick of this view.

KING CRAB BENEDICT

BREAKFAST AT HOME

Came home from a 6 mile walk down and back up our hill and was surprised to see this beautiful King Crab Benedict waiting for me. Father's Day breakfast cooked up by my amazing Wife. This was so good. Put me in a daze of happiness as I tasted the Crab and Hollandaise Sauce together in my mouth. How lucky am I do be eating this great food and have my Wife and Daughter seated on each side of me. Feel like the happiest man alive.

Loved our round of golf and the Brunch at Hoakalei Country Club. The new Clubhouse features Reflections Restaurant and the food here is good. I had the Crab Cake Benedict and it was out of this world good. Great tasting Crab Cake on a Puffed Pastry and covered in a perfect hollandaise. This is one of those dishes where after every bite you say "wow, this is good". And the Potatoes - crispy and so tasty with the Onions and Peppers. This was a great meal with great service!
