Absolutely LOVE Maile and Maile's Thai Bistro. This dinner was delicious and the

Panang Curry was so good it became my current favorite dish. I ordered the Curry medium spicy and it was the perfect heat for me. Nice burn that did not take away from the flavor and made me want to keep eating more and more. My Wife always orders the Ong Choi Beef which I love too. The Spicy Seafood was also excellent with perfectly cooked veggies that were not mushy. I had the Spring Rolls too, but ate them so fast I didn't get a photo :)

We love Maile and Maile's Thai. Definitely our favorite Thai restaurant in Honolulu. Service from the beautiful Janel and her team was excellent on this visit. We had a large group and they took really good care of us. Food was delicious!

MAILE'S THAI BISTRO - TAKEOUT

DINNER AT HOME

Stressful days and I was in the office before three am on this day. By 5:00 pm, I had no mojo to cook so I asked my Wife to pick up some takeout on the way home. She asked what I wanted and I said Maile's Thai food. Thai Spicy Clams, Cold Tofu, Spring Rolls, Sweet and Sour Shrimp and Pad Thai Chicken. Pretty tasty stuff and just what I needed before retiring early.

One of those weekday nights where we did not want to cook so my Wife picked up takeout from Maile's Thai Bistro on Ward Avenue. We went with some of our favorites; Spring Rolls, Cold Tofu, Ong Choi Beef and Evil Jungle Chicken. Hit the spot and we had plenty of leftovers for another day.

Crazy that we have not dined in at Maile's Thai Bistro in Hawaii Kai for over a year. Covid forced us to order takeout from our favorite Thai restaurant. Returning to the restaurant was nice but seeing the plexiglass, masks, distanced tables, takeout table and other safety measures took away from the neighborhood feel of this place. Could not stop thinking of what our friend Maile has gone through to stay open and get through these messed up times. Whats not messed up is the food at Maile's. Always a hit with me and my gals. The girls love the Cold Tofu and French Fries here. Yes French Fries and a Thai restaurant. Thin, crispy, salty and delicious. I only ate one to stay low carb and avoided the Pad Thai and limited myself to one Spring Roll when I usually eat as many as possible. Loved the crispy fresh vegetables in the Ong Choi Beef and Sweet and Sour Fish. Everyone loved the food and the service was fast and great too!

I am on a mission to do what I can do to support local restaurants and small businesses during these Covid-19 times. Besides donating to @showalohachallenge, each week I am buying lunch for my entire office of 30 people. This week it was Maile's Thai Bistro. I have known Maile for over 20 years and she is an incredible person and chef. She works so hard at her Hawaii Kai and Ward restaurants and is always there to support my golf tournament that raises money for cancer research.

Ordering 30 lunches from Maile made me so happy. Maile made up a special plate that consisted of Pad Thai Noodles, Fried Chicken, Green Curry with Chicken, Jasmine Rice and a salad.
