When you talk about the best golf courses in Hawaii, names like Nanea, Kohanaiki, Kukio, Hoakalei and Turtle Bay come to mind.  Right up there at the top should be Manele Bay.  This course is why I love the game of golf.  To be transported to such a beautiful place that you would never experience if it were not for the game of golf makes you realize what a special game this is.  To play Manele Bay again with my Daughter made this round even more special and memorable.  The Jack Nicholas designed course is beautiful and challenging.  Bring a few extra balls because the ocean for some reason draws them in perhaps as gifts to the Gods.

I have been blessed to play some beautiful golf course throughout America and Scotland.  Manele Bay is up there with the best of them for pure beauty.  Every hole seems to have a view that takes your breath away.  The course is in terrific shape and looks at many times like a painting.  Playing two rounds here over a weekend was pure joy.  One of the best golf experiences of my life.
