When you talk about the best golf courses in Hawaii, names like Nanea, Kohanaiki, Kukio, Hoakalei and Turtle Bay come to mind.  Right up there at the top should be Manele Bay.  This course is why I love the game of golf.  To be transported to such a beautiful place that you would never experience if it were not for the game of golf makes you realize what a special game this is.  To play Manele Bay again with my Daughter made this round even more special and memorable.  The Jack Nicholas designed course is beautiful and challenging.  Bring a few extra balls because the ocean for some reason draws them in perhaps as gifts to the Gods.

After years of waiting, the Hoakalei Country Club now has a Clubhouse!  No more dining under a tent with no air conditioning and no more using portable buildings for bathrooms.  We have a Clubhouse and it is one of the very best in the State of Hawaii.  Complete with pool, pool bar, restaurant, piano bar and locker rooms this place is going to rock and definitely change the golf scene in Ewa.  Cannot wait to spend hours here on the 19th Hole!

Hawaii Kai Golf Course is much improved in so many ways.  Better management, better course maintenance and better food.  Really enjoyed a weekend round here with some friends.  Course was in good shape and the greens were playing fast.  The food upstairs after our round was good too.  Nachos with Chili and the bomb!
