I have wanted to eat at the Grand Central Oyster Bar for decades and for some reason never made it here during trips to New York. This time I made sure to have it on my schedule. Wow....this place is a feast for the eyes with beautiful architecture. Makes sense that it has stood the test of time for over 100 years. The restaurant is huge with multiple dining areas and bars filled with customers from all corners of the world. Service was excellent as I enjoyed a glass of wine, Oysters, Clam Chowder and Crab. All delicious. Really liked this place at it will now be part of every visit to NYC!

Just had to visit Joe's Stone Crab while in Miami. We don't get to eat Stone Crab very often so this was a treat. What shined here was the food, but the service was EXCEPTIONAL. The entire staff treated us like family. They were fun, engaging and totally focused on making our lunch here a happy memory. Very rare to see an entire restaurant running so smooth with happy, smiling and totally dedicated staff. The food was amazing too. The Oysters were fresh and so good. Probably could eat a dozen myself but had to save room for what was coming next. The Stone Crab Bisque was rich, delicious and full of flavor. I loved the Lobster, Lump Crab and Shrimp Salad which was big enough to be shared with several people. This was a very filling salad that totally satisfied my seafood desires. The Lump Crab was the star of the show. We went with the Large size and they were sweet and delicious. Amazed that eating one or two was quite filling. I made the mistake of placing another order of Stone Crabs and we had trouble finishing them all. We finished our meal with the best Key Lime Pie ever.

Blessed to be able to spend a day with just me and my Daughter. We cruised around the South Shore of Oahu and visited a friend in Kailua. Coming home and we decided to have brunch at Et Al in Kahala. Food and service were great. The Fresh Shucked Oysters were tasty and my Daughter loved them. I had the Maui Beet Salad and loved it. The Et Al Chopped Salad was devoured by Keli. We shared the Hamakua Mushroom Risotto which was absolutely delicious. I will return again just for this.

OYSTER FARMING IN CROATIA

Oyster farming in Croatia was pretty darn cool. Our Captain Mario was awesome. Just minutes into our adventure, he pulled out a bottle of homemade wine and got the party started. Then a short stop to raise up some Oysters and place them in the boat. After that it was just vino and Oysters on the water. The Oysters were delicious and served with just a squeeze of lemon juice. After we got off the boat we can into Captain Mario in town and joined him for drinks. This was truly a relaxing and memorable day.
