DINNER AT HOME

Don't know what my wife puts into this dish, but wow it is delicious and it has a fiery kick.  The Spicy Pork, Green Beans and Carrots are the perfect combination of flavors and 

textures. Low carb too.  Love this and it tastes even better after a day or two in the refrigerator.

This little spot was located directly behind our hotel in Seoul and recommended by the hotel staff as a place where locals eat.  Food was just ok for me but my gals ate it up with no complaints.

Visited a local Korean Market and picked up everything we needed to make a delicious Korean BBQ dinner at home.  I made the Korean style Bean Sprouts and we purchased the Kim Chi, Cucumbers and Daikon.  The Boneless Kalbi Beef and Spicy Pork were pre-marinated so I just had to cook them on the grill.  This was an absoutley delicious Korean dinner!

I love Korean BBQ and often get it with Noodles.  Trying to stay low carb this time and I went for my normal Spicy Pork/Spicy Chicken Combo with all Cucumbers and Kimchi as my sides. Did not eat the rice or Mandoo.  Delicious and I really didn't miss the rice.

After a trip to the Mainland, it is nice to get back to some Hawaii favorites like Poke and Korean BBQ.  I enjoyed another plate of Ono Korean BBQ at the office and brought more home for dinner than I ate.  Good thing because the Wife loves this stuff and finished it all.  I always get the Spicy Pork and Spicy Chicken combo.

I love Korean BBQ.  If I were twenty pounds lighter, I would probably eat at them more often.  For around $8.50 you get two meat selections plus your choice of four vegetables or starch and always two scoops of rice.  Best Drive Inn on Sand Island Access Road serves up one of the best plates in town.  On this visit I went for the Spicy Pork and Kal Bi Rib combo with Bean Sprouts, Corn, Kim Chee and a spicy turnip type vegetable.  At Best you order your plate at the counter and then move to the left and choose your side dishes.  There are over a dozen choices of different vegetables and potatoes.  I love the Spicy Pork here.  Thin slices of pork soaked in a red blanket of slightly hot spices.  The Kal Bi Ribs are also delicious with a sweet smokey flavor.  On this visit we hosted some mainland business folks who have never eaten Korean BBQ.  Both devoured everything on their plate and said it was great.  Think they wanted to take a nap after finishing.
