Enjoyed a nice lunch at the Taverne on Woodlake. Nice staff and really good food. I started with the Meatballs and they were delicious. There was however a huge taste of lemon that I thought should not be in the dish. The waitress rolled off the Pasta Special and I really didn't understand what she said. All I remember is fresh made Pasta so I ordered it. The dish came to the table and didn't look too attractive. I picked at it and took a few bites. Couldn't figure out what was in the Pasta so I asked the waitress what kind of meat is this. She looked at me quite strangely and said "meat". Yes, I replied. There is no meat she said it vegetarian. Wow, I thought what is it. She explained it was some type of Brocollini and Cauliflower. I was in shock. How can something this good be Broccoli and Cauliflower? This Pasta was delicious. Absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop eating it. The flavors were amazing. The best Vegetarian Pasta dish I have ever tasted!
