Enjoyed my round at TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas.  This is a nice course and the history of the Byron Nelson Classic being held here for so many years makes it just that more special.
Loved to seeing former U.S. Open winner and Hawaii Men's Golf Coach Scott Simpson on the Wall of Champions!

I would have eaten at Law Restaurant at the Four Seasons Dallas two more times but on several occasions I waited patiently for a hostess to seat me and they never came.  Walked away twice as did other patrons.  On the time I was seated service and breakfast was great.  Waiters were excellent and always tried to refill drinks and offer a high level of service.  I ordered the Eggs Benedict with a Tomato in place of the English Muffin.  Without hesitation the waiter said "of course" and the dish came out perfect.  Delicious!

Enjoyed my stay at the Four Seasons Dallas.  Hotel is nice but does not have the same luxurious feel of other Four Season properties.  While the staff is good, aside from the front desk you do not get the personalized service and name recognition as enjoyed at other Four Seasons.  Rooms are nice and housekeeping is exceptional.  Bellmen were great and always making sure we had directions and a good time.  Hotel includes the TPC Las Colinas Golf Course which you can easily walk to from your room.  The pool is huge and was rarely used until the weekend where it filled up pretty well.  Loved the outside patio at the Outlaw Taproom.  We enjoyed cocktails before dinner here and the atmosphere with the fireplace and pit was great and something I do not get to enjoy in Hawaii.  The Law restaurant seemed understaffed as I walked up twice to be seated and could not get a hostess or employee to seat me.  Walked away twice after waiting too long.  This is a beautiful property with lots of amenities.

Enjoyed lunch at The Ranch at Las Colinas.  Food and service were excellent.  While I did not stay low carb and went off the rails, this was kind of worth it just to enjoy some different types of food we cannot get in Hawaii.  The restaurant is huge with indoor and outdoor covered seating plus outdoor patio seating.  We started with the Chef's Favorite "4" appetizer platter.  Huge Onion Rings, Queso Blanco, Fried Green Tomatoes and Elk Tacos.  Everything here was delicious.  I loved the Elk Tacos and could have ate four of them myself.  The Queso Blanco Dip served with Tortilla Chips was addicting and I could not stop eating it.  Onion Rings were huge and so tasty with a little ketchup.  I even liked the Fried Green Tomatoes.  This was carb overload so I kept it to one Onion Ring and one Fried Green Tomato.  I had the Texas Hot Chicken Sandwich.  It was good but not too hot.  Wish it had a bit more heat or hot sauce.
My friend enjoyed the Chicken Fried Chicken and liked it.  I would definitely recommend this place and would LOVE to return to try more menu items.

No complaints about playing the Tradition course at Watters Creek in Texas.  The course was in good shape and pretty fun.  For under $50 this is a nice place to golf.

Just to be clear, Allen, Texas is about 30 to 45 minutes from Downtown Dallas depending on traffic.  The place is pretty much in the middle of nowhere in an office complex with very little around it.  There is a small shopping plaza just up the road that includes an incredible supermarket and several restaurants.  Other than that, you are in the boondocks.  The hotel is bright and clean.  Seemed like it was a bit understaffed and there was no bellman or valet parking.  There is a large parking structure in the back of the hotel where you can download an app and pay $10 per day for parking.  Rooms are large and include multiple power sources for electronics.  My only complaint is that I was here for four nights and never had room service.  Lucky they provided enough towels for all four nights.  I did not complain but when I checked out I mentioned to  the front desk clerk that my room had not been serviced in four days.  To my surprise she said that there should have been a note in my key holder that stated that you must request room service each day if needed.  I told her that she checked me in and made no mention of the room service being optional.  She said she put a note in the key holder and then said let me show you.  She looked around the desk and could not find one of the notes.  I again checked my key holder and showed her there was no note.  This is a convention hotel and not a place I would want to vacation at.  The pool however is very nice and it includes a large screen outdoor tv.  The food served at our business dinner banquet was top notch.  Some of the best banquet food ever.  The Caesar Salad was perfect and the Steak, Salmon and Au Gratin Potatoes were all delicious.
