Lava Lava is a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner on the beach in Kapaa, Kauai. Check links below for dinner posts. This was our first time having breakfast at Lava Lava and our party of five people was not impressed. The three girls all ordered the Acai Bowl and all liked it but said the portion was too small. All of them were still hungry after finishing their bowls. The Loco Loco was small too. I ordered the Loco Moco to split with my Wife and the portion was really small for one person and it was $17. We ended up ordering more food for the girls so this got pretty expensive.

The Momosa however was perfect!

This was our first time visiting Bobby V's on Kauai since they moved to the Coconut Marketplace which is stumbling distance from our Kauai condo. We were quickly seated and began ordering a variety of dishes for our party of five. Started with Garlic Bread which really was bland and not too garlicky. The Antipasto Salad was good and we all finished it off in minutes. The Calamari was good but they cover it in way too much Aoli. The Fettuccine Bolognese was a favorite of the table as was the Shrimp Scampi. Everyone seemed to really like the food here. The Pizza came last and it was good. Way better than I remember Bobby V's being before and something I would come back for again. Added a little Chianti to my meal which made this a very enjoyable evening.

Love the Kountry Style Kitchen in Kapaa, Kauai. Really is one of the best places for Breakfast or Lunch on the Island. While always busy, service is always friendly and pretty fast. On this visit we had a half hour wait so we walked across the street and enjoyed views of the ocean and a walking path. I went for a half order of Eggs Benedict ($10.50). Ordered with Fruit but got Hash Browns. No problem. I liked the Hash Browns. My Wife loved her Mediterranean Omelette ($14.25) and my Daughter loved her Elvis Waffle ($11.25) with Peanut Butter and Bananas. The Waffles with Strawberries were a big hit with our friends too. Cannot really go wrong here. Solid!
