Enjoyed a beautiful evening dining at the CanoeHouse at the Mauna Lani Auberge Collection.  Beautiful hotel, restaurant and view.  While the food and service were good, it was the view that was the star of the show.  Nothing really blew me away with the food.

I was really hungry when we landed on the Big Island.  We stopped at the Kings Shops which is right across the street from the Hilton Waikoloa.  There were very few options to eat at so we hit Merrimans because the hostess out front had a nice smile.  We chose to eat inside and were quickly seated by friendly staff.  We decided to order a pizza and fish tacos and split them.  The pizza was terrible.  I have had better pizza out of a frozen box.  The little pizza was around $10.  We could not split the Fish Taco because there was only one on the plate for $15.  Really disappointed with this place.
