Back to Guieb Cafe to get my "Guieb" on again. Just love this little local gem in Kalihi. Had the seared Ahi again with Crab Salad and Vegetables. Chose this over rice and they were happy to do it at no extra cost. This lunch is $12 and worth every penny. The Ahi is fresh and served very rare (almost raw) with just a sear on the outside. Works well with the sauces that take this dish to another level. Have not had a bad meal here yet and highly recommend you try it.

GUIEB CAFE SEARED AHI

Ok this is a neighborhood gem. The food here is delicious. I had the Seared Ahi today and requested Crab Salad in place of rice and vegetables. This was actually one of the best lunches ever! The Ahi was amazing and the vegetables were fresh and perfectly seasoned. Absolutely loved everything on the plate and was totally satisfied. My co-workers enjoyed the Prime Rib Loco Moco, Garden Omelette with Sweet Potato Fries and the Honey French Toast Acai. Everyone was extremely happy with their food. The food and people here are amazing. Great little locally owned business that I will continue to support. Highly recommend! Update: Went back again and this time tried the Chicken and Avocado Salad. Delicious but they put the warm Chicken over the greens so it wilted them a bit and there was a bit too much dressing for my liking and diet. I loved the flavor of the Chicken and Dressing but next time I order this will be with Dressing on the side and Chicken separated from the greens. Update: Went back again and tried the Crab Legs for $15. They were delicious and there was no need for the large tub of butter they provided. Update: Back again and had the Grilled Miso Asian Salmon. Absolutely delicious! Back again for Grilled Opah with Vine Ripened Tomato Garlic Butter and Mashed Potatoes. Awesome!! Update: Back again for the Fresh Catch Fish Sandwich. This was probably my least favorite meal here. They breaded the fish which I do not like. The fish however was delicious and fresh. The sandwich was a bit soggy and the fries were not crisp or seasoned. Back again to try the Prime Rib which lately has been selling out fast. Mine was a bit dry and have been sitting awhile. Not bad but not great. Another visit and I had the Club Sandwich which was a Weekly Special. It was terrible. Would not even call it a Club. Back again for the Seared Ahi Salad. It was good.
