A day at Hoakalei is pretty much the perfect day.  I love this Clubhouse and golf course.

Absolutely the BEST on Oahu.  My pre-round lunch usually includes the Caesar Salad with Fresh Fish and maybe a cold beverage at Reflections.  Post round always includes a refreshing glass of chilled Chardonnay, Sashimi or Poke.  Also enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Roll which is a favorite and the pupu style Rib Eye.  Service and staff are great at Hoakalei.  They always call you by name and make sure you feel like a valued member.  Love Hoakalei and wish we lived closer because I would definitely spend more time here.

Enjoyed a nice lunch and round of golf at Hoakalei Country Club.  This place is absolutely beautiful and it is THE BEST golf course on Oahu.  The staff and service on this day and most days is amazing.  Personalized service and attention while dining is very nice.  I started my day with a Seltzer rather than beer.  The flavored Seltzers are tasty, refreshing and light.  Doesn't fill me up like beer does so they are nice to drink on the course.  The Sushi at Hoakalei is always good.  Just wish they offered more of it.  Currenty they only have two rolls available and on this day they were out of Spicy Tuna.  Went with the Hoakalei Roll instead.  Delicious.  Seems like I always order the Caesar salad with Fresh Fish.  The fish is always cooked to perfection and satisfying.  On this visit the Caesar was loaded with dressing so next time I am getting the dressing on the side.

Scott Simpson, U.S. Open Golf Champion in awe of my bomb drives which were landing within feet of his at Hoakalei Country Club.  While my drives were good they only once came even close to the Champ.  Nice to play a round with Scott who lives in Hawaii and helps coach the University of Hawaii Woman's Golf team.  Scott is super funny, humble and motivated to teach golf and life lessons to our kids.  What a great day at Hoakalei!

Cannot say enough good about the new Clubhouse at Hoakalei.  Definitely the best on Oahu.  The food is fantastic, the course is in amazing condition and there is no better golf experience or venue on Oahu.  On this visit I enjoyed the Sliders with a Salad.  One Cheeseburger, One Fish and One Shrimp.  These little Sliders were delicious with the Shrimp surprising me most.  The Shrimp was sweet and perfect with the Cole Slaw.  Finished all three and want to go back and order again.  Lunch was followed with a round of golf on Oahu's best course.  Beautiful fairways, water and around 116 bunkers of which I was in plenty.
