My Daughter arrived back in town and wanted a Poke Bowl on the way home from the airport.
I did a Google and Yelp search and found that Alii Fish Market had great reviews. I was familiar with the location so we went for it. Arrived to find the place kinda hidden but there was a sign that led us right to the counter where we were met with a nice smile and welcome. I asked if they had Poke Bowls and they said no. We were then showed a cooler where the pre packaged Poke was stored. I guess they do not make it to order. My Daughter dug into the cooler and pulled out four different types of Poke. We ordered two scoops of rice and the tab with tip was around $65. Service and attitude of the staff was great by the way. Got home and started trying the Poke. First thing my Daughter said was Foodland Poke was better. My Wife had a few bites and said the same. Geeze I thought, here I go and look for a great Poke Bowl and the place doesn't have them. Then the Poke does not deliver on taste. I was a bit bummed out letting my Daughter down.
