I did a lot of research looking for an Old School Italian Restaurant in Las Vegas. Read the Top 10 Lists, Reviews and Social Media posts. Piero's seemed to come up a lot with good reviews. Decided to book a table and boy was this a mistake. Did not care for the food here at all. That was the feeling of three of us at the table. Started with the Frito Miso which was lightly breaded. The breading was falling off of everything. I thought it was ok but the two others barely touched it after a bite or two. The Mozzarella Fritti was fried and had no taste. I think everyone at the table took one bite and we left the rest on the plate. Pat's Meatballs were very dry and actually broke apart into small pieces. Lacked flavor and a total disappointment. The House Special Caesar Salad with Shrimp, Hearts of Palm, Cucumber and I think some Avocado didn't hit the spot for any of us. Pro Tip: Go for the regular Caesar. I ordered the Linguine and Clams. Clams were good but the Pasta was overcooked and not al dente. Very little flavor in the sauce. Disappointed again. The Sunday Gravy had the same dry Meatball but the Sausage had good flavor. Sauce did not impress. Our friend barely ate his Osso Buca and offered it to me. I took a bite and again was unimpressed. Left this place totally disappointed and vowing never to return.
