Couldn't leave San Diego without another stop at Raul's.  Just had to have the Crunchy Shredded Beef Tacos one more time before returning to Honolulu.  Also enjoyed Rolled Tacos with Chicken and Guacamole, Chicken Soup (which my daughter lovers) and a Carne Asada Burrito.  All so good.  Wish we could get Mexican food like this in Hawaii.

A trip to North San Diego is not complete without a stop at Raul's Shack in Encinitas.  The Crunchy Shredded Beef Tacos are my all time favorite.  Filled with delicious marinated beef and loaded with Cheese, Lettuce, Guacamole and Pico de Gallo.  Add the Red Hot Sauce and it is Taco heaven.  Two of these Tacos will fill you up and you will leave satisfied.  Also love the Rolled Tacos with Guacamole and Carne Asada Tacos and Burritos.  My friend always orders the Chicken Soup and loves it more than anything on the menu.  This is one of the best Taco shops on the planet!

Had to return to Raul's after just 24 hours because we were craving the Crunchy Shredded Beef Tacos.  Also enjoyed a Taquito Burrito which was delicious.

Readers of my blog know that I am a certified Tacoholic.  Could eat Tacos every single day if they are good.  Raul's Shack has some of the best Crunchy Tacos on the planet.  Every trip to San Diego, we eat here one or two times.  Always get the Crunchy Shredded Beef Tacos.  On this visit we also enjoyed the Beef Taquitos and a huge Chicken Tostada.  Prices here are super cheap compared to Hawaii Mexican food.  I posted just a portion of the menu so you can see the prices.  This is a Great Eats Hawaii FAVORITE!

Totally shocked and disappointed to visit Raul's Shack twice during our San Diego visit only to learn that they were not serving Crunchy Tacos.  This is the place of one of my favorite Tacos in the World and to find out they were not available killed me.  Decided to go for a Carne Asada Burrito and Rolled Tacos with Guacamole.  Super delicious but boy did I miss my Crunchy Shredded Beef Tacos.

The seconds stop on our North San Diego Taco tour is Raul's in Encinitas which in my opinion has the best Crunchy Shredded Beef Tacos.  These tacos are filling and satisfying and include marinated shredded beef, cheese, lettuce, pico de Gallo and lots of delicious Guacamole.  A complete flavor bomb of a taco and my choice as THE BEST CRUNCHY SHREDDED BEEF TACO!
