Jollibee has some of the best Fried Chicken on the planet.  So good that I call it "crack" because after one bite you will be addicted.  I order it Spicy and it does have a little kick.  Super crunchy on the outside but the inside is moist and bursting with flavor.

Add the Gravy and your addiction will deepen!

My Wife was working late and brought home this Jollibee plate for dinner.  The Spicy Fried Chicken was for me.  Wow....some of the best Fried Chicken on the planet.  Love it!  My Wife loves the Pancit Palabok which is a combination of Pork,Shrimp, Egg, Noodles and Egg.

Spending a lot of days in Maui as we prepare to open our new showroom and warehouse in Kahului.  Have been treating the contractors and staff Pizza day after day so I switched it up and ordered Jollibee Fried Chicken.  Damn this is some of the best Fried Chicken ever.  Love the Spicy version with their peppery gravy.  If you have not tried Jollibee Chicken you are missing out.  CAUTION:  This chicken can become addicting.

I know its not healthy but Jollibee Fried Chicken and Gravy is so darn good.  Probably my favorite Fried Chicken on the Island of Oahu.

A few times a year, I must get my Jollibee fix.  Their Chicken with Gravy is chicken crack.  Oh so good but probably oh so bad for your health.  I love this stuff.  The peppery gravy is delicious and they give you a small container of it so you can dip the chicken.  Heaven.  I would eat this once a week if I weighed 130 pounds.  Two pieces with two sides is $7.99.

The Spicy Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy at Jollibee is so good.  Wish I could eat this at least once a week.  Absolutely love this food!!!!

I was going to eat light this week and try to drop a few pounds.  Then my customer brings this lunch from Jollibee to my office.  Spicy Fried Chicken, Corn, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy and an extra container of Gravy to dip the Chicken in.  My Goodness this is "Chicken Crack".  Totally addicting and delicious.  The Spicy Chicken really does have a nice kick of heat and the Chicken is totally moist.  When you dip the Chicken into the Pepper Gravy it is Chicken Heaven.  This is the BEST Fried Chicken and Gravy ever.  I could eat this every day of the week.  Try Jollibee Fried Chicken and Gravy if you have one near you.  This is a chain from the Philippines with restaurants in Hawaii and California.

Jollibee is a huge fast food chain in the Philippines.  In their home Country they are an equal to McDonalds or Zippy's in Hawaii.  There is one thing that Jollibee does so well and it is their Fried Chicken.  This stuff is like Crack.  Addicting....and so delicious.  One of my favorite meals but I only get to enjoy this once or twice a year it seems.  The Fried Chicken is the absolute best on the Island.  Crispy on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside.  When matched with the Pepper infused Gravy this is my Crack.  Add the Mashed Potatoes with lots of the Gravy and it is Crack x 2.  I kid you not, this is delicious.  One of those meals where you don't come up for air, don't talk and go into somewhat of a trance while eating it.  When you are done licking your fingers all you can think of is "wow" that was good and I want more.

I have to write about Jollibee Fried Chicken.  It is hands down the BEST Fried Chicken in Hawaii.  When enjoyed with their gravy it is pure heaven.  Oh..how I wish that I could eat this every week.  If I did not have to watch my weight I would be a Jollibee Chicken Junkie.  The Chicken has a great fried crunch on the outside but is moist and non greasy on the inside.  Without the gravy it is delicious but when you dip it in the gravy - Wow....  the flavor goes to another level.  I get so happy eating the Chicken/Gravy Combo that costs $6.99 and comes with your choice of Rice or Mashed Potatoes.  I always get the Mashed Potatoes because they are delicious and covered in even more of the gravy.  Highly recommend that you try this Chicken while in Hawaii or if you travel to the Philippines where Jollibee is home based.  In the Philippines, Jollibee is the McDonalds of the country and you will find them in every mall, shopping center and Province.

Jollibee is an institution in the Philippines.  They are the    Mc Donalds of the Philippines with outlets in every mall and neighborhood.  When we heard that they had opened a Jollibee in America I was shocked.  Even more surprised to learn they opened in Waipahu, Hawaii.  Waipahu has a large Filipino community so this was a perfect choice in my mind.  The lines the first couple of weeks were huge we were told.  Basically could not get parking or in the place without a very long wait.  The crowds are smaller now but the place still has a line at all hours.  I tried the Cheeseburger with Tomato and Lettuce ($1.75).  The cheese was not melted.  Just placed on top of the burger.  The burger was salty and really tasteless.  I would not eat another one.  The Fried Chicken however is a huge winner.  We ordered Two Pieces of Chicken ($3.99). We received two large pieces cooked crispy and to perfection.  Crunchy yet moist in the middle with great taste.  The gravy that is served with the chicken is addicting.  Once you dip the chicken in the gravy, you will be hooked.  My Wife loves the Palabok ($4.95).  Noodles topped with special sauce, shrimp, pork rinds and boiled egg.  I didn't try this dish but it is quite popular.  The menu at Jollibee is pretty simple.  Burgers, Spaghetti and Fried Chicken.  I would go back tomorrow for the Fried Chicken. http://www.jollibeeusa.com/
