Had orders from the Wife to use what we had in the refrigerator rather than going out for lunch.  Made a delicious Prime Rib Burrito.  Low carb flour tortilla of course!

I was making a Burrito using a low carb Mission Tortilla and it was too large to wrap up.  Decided to just eat it like a Taco.  My Drewitto included Spicy Refried Beans, Shredded Chicken, Cheese, Guacamole, Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream and Hot Sauce.  Delicious!

Leftover Taco meat and Beans in the refrigerator so I made a Beef and Bean Burrito.

Added Cheese, Onions, Cilantro and Hot Sauce on a low carb Tortilla.  Loved it!

Cleaning out the fridge and doing leftover night.  Found some Prime Rib and a ripe Avocado and making a Burrito shot into my mind.  Made this delicious Burrito in minutes using a low carb tortilla.  Prime Rib, Guacamole, Onion, Cilantro and Hot Sauce.  Yummy!

Opened the refrigerator and saw the leftover Refried Beans and Ground Beef from our Taco Night.  Grabbed a low carb tortilla and made a quick Burrito.  Delicious!

 Had a night out and needed to recover in the morning.  Cooked up this delicious little Burrito with a few things we had in the refrigerator.  Sausage, Eggs, Onion, Refried Beans, Jalapeño, Cabbage and Guacamole Salsa.  Tasted great and hit the spot!

We had some Rotisserie Chicken and Refried Beans so a Burrito was in order.  Added Cheese, Lettuce, Pico de Gallo and some Hot Salsa.  Delicious!

TITO'S TACOS

We drove by Tito's Tacos and saw a line before 11:00 am.  We drove by again and saw a line even longer in the evening.  My Dad's wife Heide (bless her soul), said that we had to try a Tito's Taco.  I am always in search of a good taco and was more than happy to stop in.  Perhaps this would be the one stop that would "wow" me during our visit to California.  We began by waiting in line outside, but then discovered that there was indoor seating and another line of windows inside where it was warm.  Without hesitation, Heide went to the window and ordered just about everything on the menu for us to try.  Tacos, burrito, tamale, chili, two kinds of enchiladas and a weeks worth of chips and salsa.  THANK YOU HEIDE.  This was awesome.  I immediately attacked the tacos ($1.75 plus $.60 for cheese).  A crunchy taco that is filled with shredded beef and then deep fried.  Toss on some lettuce, cheese and their fresh salsa and you have one of the best tacos in Los Angeles.  I absolutely loved my Tito's Taco.  They have a crunch and flavor that is addicting.  No wonder people line up in droves and happily carry out boxes of these Mexican treats.  It is amazing to see box after box of tacos coming out of the kitchen.  The rows of tacos are placed in a box and then covered with a lid for save travel.  Tito's does it right.  They have a very limited menu.  When you order a taco, it comes one way.  Beef with or without cheese.  Thats it.  We also tried the burrito.  This is a large tortilla filled with pure meat and sauce.  Nothing else unless you request beans or cheese.  It was good, but the tacos really kept my mouth watering.  The Chicken and Beef Enchiladas were good but pretty much taste the same.  The Tamale was mostly Masa so it was not my favorite.  The Chili was good.  I think it is the same meat and sauce used in the burrito.  The beans and rice here are excellent and the fresh salsa is really good.  The chips are made fresh and served warm.  I could sit there and eat these things for hours.      
TITO'S TACOS IS A TASTE OF HAWAII FAVORITE!

Visited the Waianae side of the Island and stopped into Tacos and More to try some Mexican food.  The Chicken Nachos ($9.95) include a mix of cheese wiz and shredded cheese with refried beans, sour creme and guacamole.  These were not bad but probably filled me up.  The Assorted Tacos ($11.95) were o.k.  I tried the Carne Asada, Carnitas and Shredded Beef.  You can choose crunch or soft shells.  The Beans and Rice ($2.50) were cold.  My friend had the Pork Burrito ($9.95) and loved it. I liked the fresh salsa served with the chips and the entrees are served with a red and green sauce on the side.  I really liked the red sauce on all of my tacos.  This is a family business that has grown over the years.  They continue to expand as business improves.  The addition of a liquor license has really boosted sales and growth.

We had to try the Mexican food at California Adventure Park next to Disneyland. It was actually pretty good for amusement park grub. I had a steak burrito that was full of marinated meat.
