APPETIZER AT HOME

I was not even thinking of having Sashimi on this night but when I looked at the fresh fish at the market, one block of Ahi screamed "buy me Drew".  It was bright red, glossy and super fresh.  Boy I was glad that I bought this.  The Sashimi cut like butter and melted in your mouth.  This was incredible!

Love it when I go to the market and find super fresh Ahi at a decent price.  Cannot resist when I see a deep red and glossy block of Ahi.  Made this quick platter with Japanese Cucumber, Ahi, Avocado, Daikon and Wasabi/Shoyu Sauce.  I put a shredded cabbage base under the Sashimi too.

Picked up an incredible block of fresh Ahi Sashimi and sliced it up with some Avocado to make this Sashimi Platter for 4th of July.  The Ahi cut like butter and melted in your mouth.  Super fresh fish like this is one of the great things about living in Hawaii.  Love it!
