BALE SANDWICH
DINNER AT HOME
Seems like every time we return from a trip abroad, the family craves Pho and a Banh Mi Sandwich. Bale is our go to place and the Bahn Mi here is the BEST! I always order the Special Sandwich with Cheese, no mayo with extra veggies. The Hawaii Kai Bale does it perfectly and makes what I think is the Best Banh Mi in Honolulu. My Daughter loves the Beef Ball Pho and I go for the Rare Steak Pho. Always enjoy the Spring Rolls too. This is one of my favorite spots in Hawaii.

I don't spend much time on the Windward side of Oahu but had to go there to have my car detailed. The shop said it would take over an hour so I walked to the Windward Mall. Don't think I have ever been in this mall. Headed to the Food Court and the Lemongrass Kitchen caught my eye. Ordered a Pork Bahn Mi from a nice gentlemen who seemed like the owner because he cared about customer service. He personally made the sandwich, wrapped it up and offered me a bag and a big thank you. Sandwich was good.
