I liked the food, service and cleanliness of Pho Que Huong in Chinatown.  Food came out lightning fast so we were enjoying the Beef Pho in minutes.  Thought the Pho could use a little more flavor in the broth.  Banh Mi was pretty good and the bread was fresh.  Not my fave Vietnamese restaurant in Honolulu, but a solid place to eat.

Seems like every time we return from a mainland trip, our first cravings are for a Banh Mi and Pho from Bale Sandwich.  This is one of my favorite sandwiches on the planet and the Hawaii Kai location does it best.  I order the Special Sandwich with Cheese, no mayo and extra veggies.  They do it up right for me every single time.  Also order the Pho with extra onions and they do that too.  Great service and the food rocks at Bale!

Seems like every time we return from a trip abroad, the family craves Pho and a Banh Mi Sandwich.  Bale is our go to place and the Bahn Mi here is the BEST!  I always order the Special Sandwich with Cheese, no mayo with extra veggies.  The Hawaii Kai Bale does it perfectly and makes what I think is the Best Banh Mi in Honolulu.  My Daughter loves the Beef Ball Pho and I go for the Rare Steak Pho.  Always enjoy the Spring Rolls too.  This is one of my favorite spots in Hawaii.

I was craving Vietnamese Pho big time but did not want to eat the noodles to stay low carb.

Enjoyed all the Rare Steak, Brisket, Bean Sprouts, Onion, Green Onion, Jalapeños, Basil and Cilantro in the delicious broth.  Wow....this was so good even without the noodles.

Another great bowl of Pho for lunch at my office.  Ha Long Pho is my favorite Pho right now.  They are generous with the meats and the broth has great flavor.  I order the Rare Steak and Brisket.

I love Pho and had read some really great reviews on Pho Huong Lan.  Ordered the Rare Steak Pho for lunch and thought it was just ok.  Not the worst Pho but not the best.  It did however satisfy my Pho craving.

I love a good bowl of Pho and often enjoy it while working at my desk.  We have a few go to spots near the office but our favorite is Ha Long Pho on Dillingham,  Takeout Pho comes with a bowl of broth and a bowl of noodles, meats and onions.  Bean Sprouts, Jalapeños, Basil and Sauces come in a bag.  Just toss everything into the broth - stir and eat.
