BA-LE SANDWICH

Don't know why, but every time we travel to the mainland or abroad I crave a Banh Mi Sandwich and Pho.  Ba-Le is my "go to" place in Honolulu.  Looks like they closed the Ba-Le in Hawaii Kai which is the best on Oahu.  Ordered this takeout from another location on Door Dash.  Not as good as Hawaii Kai but it did hit the spot!

Seems like every time we return from a trip abroad, the family craves Pho and a Banh Mi Sandwich.  Bale is our go to place and the Bahn Mi here is the BEST!  I always order the Special Sandwich with Cheese, no mayo with extra veggies.  The Hawaii Kai Bale does it perfectly and makes what I think is the Best Banh Mi in Honolulu.  My Daughter loves the Beef Ball Pho and I go for the Rare Steak Pho.  Always enjoy the Spring Rolls too.  This is one of my favorite spots in Hawaii.

LUNCH AT THE OFFICE

One of my absolute favorite sandwiches in Hawaii is the Special Sandwich w/Cheese no mayo with extra vegetables from Bale Sandwich.  When the bread is really fresh this sandwich cannot be beat for a Banh Mi in Hawaii.  The fresh Pickled Vegetables, Cucumber and Cilantro put this sandwich over the top.  Add a lot of Sriracha Sauce and it gets even better.
