Bloom at the Ka Lai (formerly Trump) was a bit difficult to find due to hotel construction but when we did finally find it via a stairwell the space was perfect for an early evening dinner. Outdoors with incredible Hawaii weather. Service was good throughout our meal which was nice. The Happy Hour prices are good for Waikiki and I would recommend coming here for the Happy Hour. We started with three items off the Happy Hour menu. Poke Nachos and California and Spicy Tuna Rolls. The Poke Nachos were ok but didn't really wow me. The Sushi was not good at all. They don't use Sushi Rice and there was very little flavor. In fact, the California and Spicy Tuna tasted about the same. Definitely would not order the Sushi Rolls again. The savior of the night was the Roasted Miso Black Cod. Absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Served with some super tasty Wasabi Mashed Potatoes. Loved it!
