Loved my lunch at Topped in Downtown Honolulu.  The atmosphere out back on the patio, service and food were all excellent.  Started with the Mandoo which is stuffed with Pork and Kimchi.  While these are fried, they are light and fresh.  The Poke was delicious but I am not a fan of mayonnaise over fresh Ahi Tuna.  Had good flavor though.  The Bibimbap with Spicy Pork was delicious.  Love the mix of Pork and Vegetables.  Just enough rice on the bottom too.  Really good food but my friend said this location will close on February 17, 2020.  Recommend going to their Waikiki location.

Last week was my week with my Wife cooking some of my favorite meals.  This week is her week so I asked her what she wanted for dinner.  We had half of a Rotisserie Chicken in the refrigerator and she said to make something using the Chicken so she could empty the fridge.  I made Shredded Chicken and Bean Tostadas which we both love.  Fried the Corn Tortillas and then covered it with heated Refried Beans.  Added a layer of Shredded Chicken that I hand shredded from the breast meat.  I sauted the chicken with Mexican Stewed Tomatoes and Green Chilis to add flavor.  Topped with Lettuce, Cheese and fresh Pico de Gallo.  Delicious!

 My Wife made me an incredible meal that was off the charts beautiful and delicious.  Better than any restaurant and in the comfort of home.  Started with a chilled Shrimp and Crab Cocktail that was delicious.  The main course was a homemade Beef Wellington with a Green Peppercorn Cognac Sauce.  The Beef Filet was wrapped in Puff Pastry and filled with a Liver Pate and Mushroom mixture that made this a steak to remember.  Proscuitto Wrapped Asparagus and buttery potatoes on the side.   So blessed to enjoy a meal like this at home and a Wife who cares and takes pride in making everything so perfect.  Heck even the Beef Wellington had a leaf top on the Puff Pastry.

My third night of favorite meals is Alaskan King Crab.  This crab was so sweet and delicious that butter was not required.  Started the meal with some fresh Sashimi which was off the hook fresh.

One of my favorite meals in the world.  #happy.  #blessed!

I love Sweet and Sour Pork and have been craving it lately.  My Wife cooked up this version and it was the first time ever that she attempted to make Sweet and Sour Pork.  I am not kidding, it was the best Sweet and Sour Pork I have ever tasted.  She marinated the Pork and it was super moist and flavorful with a very light breading.  Most Sweet and Sour Pork is tough and mostly batter.  This was meaty, light and full of flavor.  The vegetables and sauce were perfect and not too sweet.  This is a new Santos family favorite and one of my favorite dishes.

I get to pick an entire week of my favorite meals and my lovely Bride is going to make them for me provided I am a good boy.  First up on the list is my fave Crunchy Shredded Beef Tacos.  These homemade tacos are one of my favorite dishes ever.  Marinated and slowly cooked beef, lettuce, cheese and pico de Gallo with a lot of hot sauce.  I love these tacos!

My last post on Kikuya said that I would return again and return I did.  Well not exactly returned, but enjoyed the food at my office desk.  The Garlic Ahi and Teriyaki Chicken Combo is fantastic.  You get all this for $15 and the flavors are great.  Love the Miso Soup, Salad, Tempura, Rice and Veggies along with the main course.  This is a very satisfying and filling lunch.

We rarely if ever go out for the Super Bowl.  Prefer to stay at home and watch the game of tv.  I do like to eat Super Bowl party food though so I prepared these dishes for me and the Wife.

Believe it or not, we still have an entire steak left over from last weeks night out at DK's Steakhouse.

I have already made Steak Sliders with the leftovers and now I am doing my Burrito thing.  Chopped up the steak and Maui Onions and added two Eggs to make this delicious Breakfast Burrito.

We made our way back to Waolani Windows because it will close in a few weeks for renovation.

Found that the number of menu items had been reduced a bit but pretty much the same.  We started with Sashimi which we requested be cut thin.  Normally when we order this the slices are really thick which we do not like for Sashimi.  The waitress and kitchen made sure it was perfect to our liking.

The Sashimi was fresh and the thin slices melted in your mouth.  Wish I would have ordered another order of this.  My Wife enjoyed the Caesar Salad and I had the Chopped Salad with Egg, Bacon and Avocado.  Delicious salad but a bit over dressed with the Green Goddess dressing.  I ordered the Beef Filet which was cooked to a medium rare and perfectly seasoned.  Delicious!
